My work revolves around discovery and mystery. It suggests meanings lying dormant in the material world and its phenomena.
Abstraction and visual metaphor allow each viewer to interpret the meaning of each image for themselves. I do not seek consensus regarding meaning or to tell stories with my work. It is not narrative. It is not polemical. It is not documentary. It has no set agenda and it argues no point. It invokes mystery - the mystery lying just behind the appearance of things. The mystery of their origin, purpose, fate, and existence.
